Marriage Counseling
It’s never too late to heal a broken relationship. Most relationships benefit from the opportunity to pause and examine the strengths and weaknesses of the partnership. Unfortunately when we start looking for help, our relationship is already in a place of stress and pain. But we believe that it’s never to late to restore what’s been lost. If you and your spouse are experiencing marital conflict or even enduring a traumatic life experience together, then couples therapy may be appropriate for you. At Haven Christian Counseling we offer a range of services for those seeking couple’s therapy. Contact us today about whether marriage counseling might be right for you.

Katie’s primary theoretical orientation in marriage counseling is attachment theory through the lens of Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). She approaches all clients with openness to their experiences and strengths. She works with couples to restore connection from a variety of experiences, from those looking for a "tune up" to couples contemplating divorce. In addition to working with clients utilizing EFT, Katie integrates other evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, mindfulness-based practices and systems theory while providing trauma-informed care for her clients.
