Julia Bondi, LPC Resident
Julia is a resident in counseling pursuing licensure with the state of Virginia, under the supervision of Morgan Thatcher, LPC. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Religious Studies at the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Arts in Theology at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
Julia loves working with adults, kids, teens, and college students. In her work, she simultaneously prioritizes building a strong therapeutic alliance and achieving client goals. Specifically, she seeks to establish a compassionate therapeutic alliance while empowering clients with practical tools to reach their goals. To support this mission, Julia utilizes Person Centered, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment-Informed techniques in counseling.
Julia’s seminary background uniquely equips her to offer theological integration into clinical work for clients who are interested. Her prayer for clients is that they would be restored to health in their minds, bodies, spirits, and relationships. She considers it a privilege to be part of this holistic healing journey alongside her clients.
Outside of the office, Julia loves meals with friends, group fitness, and reading outside (particularly at the beach).
