Jenna Moss, Graduate Intern
Jenna is a graduate intern at Haven and completing her Masters in Counseling Psychology at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Urban Planning at Virginia Tech and over the last five years has spent time working as a City Planner and in various ministry settings.
Jenna whole-heartedly believes that stories matter and as human beings we are all formed, wounded, and healed in the context of relationships. She believes that much of the work in counseling requires the courage to wrestle with ourselves, our community, and God. On the other side of this wrestling, Jenna has seen individuals experience greater resilience, self-confidence, and joy as they navigate different seasons of life.
In her work with individuals, Jenna is passionate about integrating various techniques and theoretical approaches, including Relational Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory. Jenna’s clinical interests include self-esteem issues, depression and anxiety, complex trauma, and sexual addictions. Most importantly, Jenna works to foster a curious, empathetic, and collaborative atmosphere and is honored to sit with clients as they explore the stories that have shaped them.
Outside of the office, Jenna loves gathering with friends, finding the best ice cream in Richmond, and playing with her sweet nephew.
